My time as a midshipman at UNC gave me lifelong friendships (to include a husband) and a great start to my Marine Corps career, and now our son has the opportunity to have those same experiences as a Marine Option in the unit. So, it goes without saying, that I'm excited for the opportunity to give back through membership on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
Through my time as a Logistics Officer, my work experience, and volunteering for various organizations, I have gained skills and experience that I believe will enable me to be a productive contributor to the Board. Some of these experiences include:
1989-2009: Marine Corps Logistics Officer
Logistics Acquisition Professional: Led the source selection board logistics evaluation team for a major Marine Corps acquisition contract
Logistics Plans Officer: Planned and organized logistics for multiple training exercises to include transportation planning, equipment maintenance and support, and life support for thousands of Marines and Sailors. Served as Logistic Operations Officer during 2005 Tsunami Relief efforts.
Executive Officer, NROTC Marquette University: Led unit staff, advised senior students, managed tuition and travel budgets, and provided Active Duty Staff officer oversight for Marquette Alumni association financial accounts
2007-2008: Wauwatosa Avenue United Methodist Church Scholarship Foundation Board Member
2013-2017: Brookfield Lacrosse Association – Director, Boys High School Program and President
2012-2019: Consultant, Oshkosh Defense
Proposal Management, Integrated Product Support, Estimating and Cost Volume Support
