Alumni Association Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary at 2000 Reunion

A cocktail party and formal dining out celebrating the tenth anniversary of the UNC NROTC Alumni Association was held at the Sheraton hotel in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday, October 7, 2000.

Several alumni were in attendance at the event, which featured the traditional piping of the beef, singing the Alma Mater, and several rounds of toasting and good-natured jibes.

The guest of honor for the dining out was the current OIC of the UNC NROTC Unit, CAPT Dennis Haines. Steve Fish was recognized for his many years of service with the Alumni Association when he was presented with the Distinguished Service Award by President Laird Lewis.
