1999 Reunion

Embarrassed by Furman,
But The Party Was Great

Let's not talk about the game. Getting beat by a Division I-AA school is enough to make any Tar Heel upset. Instead, we'll focus on all the fun we had at the 1999 Midshipmen Reunion held October 30 at the NROTC Unit in Chapel Hill.

The day began with the annual meeting of the Alumni Association, chaired by Dr. Laird Lewis, President of the Board of Directors. Several people presented updates to the members in attendance, including representatives from the Unit and other members of the Board.

Afterwards, everyone joined in the famous pig-pickin', which was organized by Midn. 2/C Matt Love. Attendees were also offered the chance to purchase polo shirts embroidered with the Tar Heel Navy logo, and several orders were taken.
